The FruitCare Operating Group meets semi-in-person to monitor the project

The innovation project developed by the FRUITCARE operating group, of which IDEAGRO is a part, met on Thursday, November 26.

With a blended format, a technical follow-up of the progress of the project was carried out. ZERYAACOPAEXIDEAGRO and SAT La Redondela attended the meeting in person. On the other hand, and as a consequence of mobility restrictions due to COVID 19, ESNEPIPCTADUNITE and ASAJA They were connected electronically.

In the first place, the scheduling of trials for the 2021 campaign was carried out. The results of the year 2020 were reviewed and a proposal was made for the next one adapted to the places where the project crops are located. The scheduling of sampling was also addressed, analyzing the results of 2020 and setting objectives for the year 2021.

On the other hand, the preparation of the useful life tests and validation of entomofauna, already present in the fields of red fruits and which will be implemented in the rest of the crops throughout the next year, was addressed.

The question of the socioeconomic study was also discussed, where the economic repercussion that the implementation of the treatment alternatives proposed in the Operative Group will have on the farmer is being parameterized.

Finally, the next dissemination activities of each of the partners for the year 2021 were analyzed.

 

The project has received a grant of €599,636.03, of which €479,708.82 comes from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (FEADER) within the National Rural Development Program 2014-2020.
