PREVENTION OF X. FASTIDIOSA IN INTENSIVE OLIVE & ALMOND PLANTATIONS APPLYING PRODUCTIVE GREEN FARMING PRACTICES
The Xylella fastidiosa (XF) is a potentially pathogenic bacterium that has transmitted diseases in a variety of woody crops and trees. It has raised the alarm throughout Europe since its detection in 2013 in olive groves, infecting more than 1 million olive trees with Olive Tree Rapid Decline Syndrome (OQDS).
CDTI
DEVELOPMENT OF RESISTANCE INDUCERS TO PREVENT VINEWOOD DISEASES
Grapevine wood diseases (GTD) are currently considered one of the most relevant challenges for viticulture. These destructive diseases cause extensive damage to vineyards each year, and are a growing concern in all wine-producing countries.
DDFF2017
INVESTIGATION OF MYCOTOXIN-PRODUCING FUNGI APPLIED IN LIVESTOCK FEED (REF. IDEALOWMYC)
The main objective of the project was the investigation of mycotoxin-producing fungi involved in livestock feeding. In the first place, a study of the current situation in Spain was carried out, determining which are the main producing fungi to, later, develop specific fungicidal strategies through the use of PRPG microorganisms isolated from soils free of multi-contamination. These microorganisms promote plant growth and are capable of reducing the presence of mycotoxin-producing fungi in the field.

FREEMYCO
AN INNOVATIVE BIOCONTROL METHOD TO ELIMINATE CONTAMINATION BY MYCOTOXINS IN THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL SECTOR
IDEAGRO, INVESTIGACIÓN Y DESARROLLO DE ENSAYOS AGROALIMENTARIOS, SL, an independent applied research company serving the agri-food sector, is currently developing a new mycotoxin biocontrol method to be marketed (FREEMYCO).
FRUIT CARE
OPERATIONAL GROUP FOR THE SUBSTITUTION OF PPPS IN STONE FRUIT, RED FRUITS AND TABLE GRAPE
In 2017 the Fruit Care Operational Group was born, an operational group for food safety of which IDEAGRO has been a part. It treats of a group that tries to determine the most effective modifications on the productive process in each culture and to improve the procedure of substitution of Products of Protection of Plants.
INNOLIVATE
AREA 9. PRE-COMMERCIAL FORMULATION FOR ENTOMO-PATHOGENIC FUNGI FOR THE CONTROL OF THE BACTROCERA OLEAE OLIVE FLY (GMELIN)
In 2018, Ideagro created a joint venture with the company Solbiosur, located in Murcia, and after bidding for the first time, the tender from the University of Córdoba was obtained for the "Preparation of a pre-commercial formulation of entomopathogenic fungi for the control of the olive fly Bactrocera oleae (Gmelin). Under this approach, we will develop a formulation based on substances of biological origin to control this pest.

REDUCTION OF THE CONTRIBUTION OF NITRATES THROUGH THE USE OF MICROORGANISMS FIXING ENVIRONMENTAL NITROGEN
Ideagro participates in a project awarded by the Development Institute of the Region of Murcia entitled "Reducing the contribution of nitrates through the use of environmental nitrogen-fixing microorganisms" and "Research on the reduction of fertilizers and phytopathogenic fungi through microorganisms (MICROORG16)".
ZERO WASTE
Life Zero Waste Project LIFE12/ENV/ES/0902. Towards a sustainable production and supply chain for stone fruit
The main objective of the project was to improve the sustainability and quality of stone fruit production in order to create a more competitive and sustainable sector. Thus, during the first year the pests and diseases that affected the cultivation of stone fruit trees were characterized.
OLEOPRECISION
IMPROVING THE SUSTAINABILITY OF OILSEED CULTIVATION IN SPAIN THROUGH MULTIDISCIPLINARY ANALYSIS INTEGRATING NEW CULTIVATION TECHNIQUES AND PRECISION AGRICULTURE TO IMPROVE CROP PRODUCTION, PROFITABILITY AND TRACEABILITY
ALLTECH
MYCOTOXIN REDUCTION PROGRAM
Since 2014, IDEAGRO has carried out mycotoxin analysis for the Alltech company, testing the levels of aflatoxins, fumonisins, zearalenone and trichothecenes in a multitude of matrices. Among these matrices, the presence of cereals stands out, the majority being corn, but also other crops such as oilseeds, the main representative being sunflower. Alltech has the 37+ system, through which it is capable of analyzing up to 38 mycotoxins by chromatography and has studied the incidence of mycotoxins in livestock feed, establishing control programs and determining the effect of not only one mycotoxin, but also studying the effects of multi-contamination, and determining how deoxynivalenol, fumonisin and aflatoxin mycotoxins can enhance their effect in animals and reduce, not only their production, but also their potential. reproductive and animal welfare.
LIFE IN-BRIEF
“LIFE In-BRIEF Integrated business model for turning Bio-waste and sewage sludge into renewable energy and agri-urban Fertilizers” LIFE14 ENV/ES/000427
Converting waste into a resource is one of the keys to closing the cycle in circular economy systems and is one of the main pillars of the "roadmap for an efficient Europe in the use of resources". In this sense, the EU affirms that both bio-waste like sewage sludge, they are biodegradable residues with high potential to become a resource through chemical processes to recover minerals and nutrients.
