During the two years that the OLEOPRECISION project<\/a> We have collaborated to design and develop strategies to improve the sustainability of oilseed cultivation in Spain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the innovation project they have carried out a multidisciplinary analysis integrating new cultivation techniques and precision agriculture.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Oleoprecisi\u00f3n Operational Group brought two years of work to a close with the holding of an online event entitled 'Oleoprecisi\u00f3n: Modernization of oilseed cultivation in Spain' in which more than 200 professionals from the agricultural sector followed the presentation of the results. of the innovation project through agromunity<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A final closure to some works in which researchers have designed and developed strategies to improve the sustainability of oilseed cultivation in Spain, through multidisciplinary analysis integrating new cultivation techniques and precision agriculture to improve production, profitability and traceability of the crop.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The inauguration and welcome was given by Jorge Llorente, Deputy Minister of Rural Development and General Director of the Castilla y Le\u00f3n Agricultural Technological Institute, who gave way to the first of the technical presentations, which under the title 'Beting on innovation' was given by Miguel Costa Commodities Sourcing and Wholesales, director at Sovena Group.<\/p>\n

Next, our CEO, Pedro Palaz\u00f3n, presented the results of the technical and field tests carried out during the OLEOPRECISION project<\/a>, with Miguel Gutierrez, coordinator of the Sovena Group Agro Spain and Argentina Project, and Carlos Campillo, CICYTEX researcher, in charge of presenting the paper entitled 'Connecting the data'.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Oleoprecisi\u00f3n Operational Group set ambitious objectives that have been fully achieved, which were focused on promoting solutions to modernize the cultivation of oilseeds, and identifying the problems and advantages that will occur in the cultivation when implementing new technologies present in the market but with difficult access by farmers due to its high cost, in such a way that they allow to improve the productivity and quality of the crop in a sustainable way, increase their competitiveness and suppose an added value to the agri-food chain.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Oleoprecision 4.0 Operational Group is led by the Sovena Oilseeds Spain group, which has worked together with the group of cooperatives Acor, Manzanilla Olive and ACOPAEX, also counting on the support of several research centers from different parts of the country, such as the Institute Agrarian Technology of Castilla y Le\u00f3n (ITACyL), the Center for Scientific and Technological Research of Extremadura (CICYTEX) and IDEAGRO, in Murcia.<\/p>\n

In addition, the main companies involved in the sector, such as Syngenta, Yara, Alltech, Rivulis Irrigation, Greenfield Technologies, AEMET and the University of C\u00f3rdoba, have collaborated in the development of the actions of the Operating Group.<\/p>\n
